The distances between places in Western Australia are unbelievable, you can drive for about 8 hours and only see two petrol stations, an emu or two and 333 thousand dead and rotting Kangaroo Carcasses (lovely!). Fiona and I started this blog in September 2004 when we decided to take a break from our jobs to go tour some of the world with a bag on our back and some money in our pockets.
