Yep, those are propane tanks.. stacked on top of one another and laying on their sides.

Just and FYI... in the States, it is illegal to fill any tank that has not been standing upright for at least 45 minutes. How ever do these people manage to live without government interference. Never heard of a Moroccan blowing up from a Budda tank.
