The Philippines is an amazing and beutifull place, I landed in Manilla on the 1st of December and it was so hot the ride from the airport was a real eye opener, on the outskirts of Manilla there were lots of shanty house's and the streets were very busy, the centre of Manilla could not look more different with high rise buildings and lots of banks and shopping centers.
