taking the "zhu pai"

the "zhu pai" is made up of two bamboo rafts which are bound together with rope..yep..a bit flimsy but it works real fine. We travelled on the river and the two boatmen skillfully pulled us along using two long bamboo poles..it was a nice tho' cold ride..along the river
In Xiamen

The family is now travelling in xiamen in search of our roots..where our parents came from. I am travelling with my nephew, niece and sisters. Xiamen was the first place i visited way back in 2003 and it's the first place i'm visiting with my family again..to bring them to see Gulang Yu, Wuyi Mountain and of course, taste the delicious seafood - the flower crabs, the prawns, the tea...etc etc.. e ... read more
