On Sunday 10th March we finally arrived at the Britz depot in Perth and were met by John and Andrea (Annie's brother and his wife) in their gleaming, big, four wheel drive 'UTE' (Utility) vehicle ... very nice! 'Adventure Before Dementia Tour!' Our travels began on Boxing Day 2012 and we headed off for a 9 month trip around the world - via New Zealand, Australia, Cook Islands and L.A Six months into that trip my beautiful and talented wife was offered a job opportunity in Perth with a visa that would allow us both to live and work in this fantastic City for four years. So, we cut short our travels and headed back to Perth ...... but we've always considered that this four year period was going to be an adventure and more of working holiday rather than us emigrating.
