I live in San Francisco and have visited LA and also stayed in a hostel, somewhere in Santa Monica was one and another near Disneyland. So how did everything work out? It’s 8 years later and you have stayed down under?
East Hills Hostel Hi there...was very interested reading your blog. I was at the Hostel from 1960-early 62. I thought you may be interested in a site called 'Friends Reunited Australia where a man named Richard Hallford has formed a group (East Hills Hostel) and he has some amazing photos of the camp. He also has a group on Facebook. Hope this is of interest to you.
Settling down! Hope Australia is the place for you as France is for me! The travels and experience, a great blog and you finally understand each other! Will not see much of each other but a great chance to pop across the world now and again!
