We felt very excited to be out of the gringo-land when we landed in Terapoto, little town and the closest airport for starting the Amazon River experience. yeah these pink dolphins similarly to those in the Mekong river are abundant;-) we could see them swimming around everywhere...but again it is just because local people believe in a legend that they transform into handsome men and kidnapped their daughters if disturbed;-) cheers, B&T
