Coconut trees

Koh Samui produces 1 million coconuts per year. Also, apparently 150 people are killed by falling coconuts each year, which seems plausible given how tall the trees can get.

My Bangkok Airways flight from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui was pleasant and included a tasty lunch. However, my introduction to Koh Samui was not ideal.
