The bus from Probolingo to Bromo

They don't turn anyone down on this bus and we were crammed in like sardines. At one point, there were 24 people in the 12 seater van - they were hanging out the door and on the roof too!

We finally pulled into the Probolingo bus station at 10pm. We'd been told we'd arrive at 6. It had been a long and grueling day, battling heat, exhaustion, bus fumes, hunger and those intense, inquisitive stares.
