22nd October 2012, Spent the night at Alligator Creek, Townsville. After breakfast and a morning shower, drove through Townsville for some sight seeing before continuing north towards Cairns. Stopped at Five Mile Creek swimming hole near Cardwell for lunch and a quick dip. Had to stay at a caravan park in Cairns as there were no camp site available.
