Our bus to Nelson arrived at 2:30pm and, as seems to be par for the course in New Zealand, was an absolute jaw droppingly beautiful drive. The 4 hours flew by and in a strange way I was a bit gutted when it finished! Our first evening in Nelson was spent wandering the streets as the city shut down for the night....at 7pm.
