The Burketown Bore, put down in 1897 by the Qld Gov't, depth 703 metres, temp 68c. Only suitable for adult cattle as it is full of minerals as you can see by the colourful build up (mound) around the bore casing.

Leaving Adel’s Grove we drove back out to join the Lawn Hill Station to Gregory road which would take us past the Zinifex Century Mine. Hi, we are Mike and Trish and about to start the next phase of our lives. Over thirty years ago we travelled from London to Kathmandu which instilled in us a love of travel.
