Slowly recovering from our mammoth trip back to the UK...even I didn't think we would end up in Chicago! Thank you Laki for getting me home....had a major meltdown at Chicago airport and I really wasn't going to get on that plane, no idea how I managed it, but Laki's "tough love" got me through. Emma and I are climbing Machu in Peru....but just not together! Emma is doing it in 5* luxury and will meet me for the final ascent as she has had a series of mishaps in her training...... It will be the longest time we've spent together. That along with the flight and climb is going to be challenging. Not sure which part will be the most. Will we make it to the top?
