Our rental Smart car

When we rented this Smart car, Bob told them there was a problem with the car – they only rented us ½ a car, but we were charged full rate! It handled well, was easy to park in small places, good on diesel consumption and roomy than they look.

Beautiful Sao Jorge July 31 - August 7, 2012

The sail from Faial to Sao Jorge was a pleasant 4 hour crossing. When we called the harbor master on the VHF we were told there was no room in the inn but that we could tie up to the reception area (a high concrete wall).
