Springtime in Provence July 19th 2012 While it is lovely to visit the South of France and especially Provence at any time of the year this visit was in the late spring—May and June which is a particularly lovely time to enjoy its pleasures without the crowds or the heat of the summer months. We have been cruising on our Nichloson 40 pilot house sloop "I Wanda" since the summer of 1993. In the early years we cruised from Maine to the Bahamas with our teenagers and now we visit them by boat. In 2003 we crossed the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores, and spent 3 years cruisng the Med. Kitties have nearly always accompanied us.... full info
