What country am I in?

I've asked it once and I'll probably ask it many times. The Chinese really do want to live like Americans.
Hai Ning, Jiaxing and Hangzhou - June 15-16, 2012

The morning of Friday, June 15th we had our last meeting at the Hai Ning city planning department. There were lots of maps and documents being passed around. I did some intense Chinese studying.
