my host sister Rosario had her fifteenth birthday on Friday. Apparently the quinciñera is called fiesta de quince here, as Rosario corrected me, and her party was in no way over the top. just 7 of her closest girlfriends, some pizza, cake and an instant messaging gossip fest.
