To all of you who do not know of our news yet, Dominic and I are now engaged. During our final couple of weeks at home before we moved to Dubai, Dominic proposed to me on June 4th. UPDATE 10 June 2010: I am now a Canadian living in Africa! Today is the day that the World Cup starts here in Africa - though admittedly at the other end of the continent - and so I hope that there will be many eyes on this wonderful land.
