I didn’t eat dinner last night.
I wasn’t really hungry and seeing those live chickens, as ugly as they were, being carted off to the butcher’s was enough for me skip a meal. It is so strange, you know where the food comes from when you buy it on a styrofoam tray wrapped in cellophane, but to see them paraded by you really puts it into perspective.
