Well, today was exhausting but very rewarding. Guided by the strange, but wonderful, Mr. Zachary Priddy we made our way to Kinkaku-ji ("Temple of the Golden Pavilion"). I WAS a swedish university student currently studying abroad for a semester at Ryukoku university in Kyoto, although the campus and my accommodations are in Seta, 17 minutes train ride east of the city and technically in the Otsu area. The programme I WAS studying is called JAS (Japanese & Asian studies). I am NOW studying journalism and have chosen to ignore said studies for little over a week.
