Rode through Kansas and on to Missouri the following morning. Stopped off in Joplin which has a great little main st. despite suffering terrible loses as a result of May's tornado! Went through Carthage and decided to ride on to St. Louis! As we had covered around 330 miles, we realised we could afford to spend two days in St. Louis.
