Gretchen and I are sitting at that nice restaurant in Venice that is on the Adriatic Sea. Unfortunately, you can't see any of the water in the background. But if you look closely, you can see a domed church just over my right shoulder.

Buon giorno! Gretchen and I have just left Venezia (Venice) and are currently on a train going to Firenze (Florence), home of the Italian Renaissance . We had a wonderful time in Venice. We got there Sunday night after a three hour train ride from Milano.
