Well we made it. After a gruelling flight with our national carrier (which by the way i was not impressed with, after initally booking the A380 at the deposit stage they switched planes and gave us what must have been the oldest 747 in the fleet!) we finally landed in LAX, cleared immigration and started our 4 month adventure!
