Chiang Mai Still in Laos mode, I was expecting a quaint little city surrounded by jungle and greenery…well that will serve me right for not reading my Lonely Planet. Chiang Mai was very spread out and although I did have a great time there, I didn’t leave feeling I had much of a grasp of the place and to be honest I’m not sure I would hurry back there.
