Christiania is a small portion of the city where the police use discretion.  Though it had a somewhat sketchy vibe when we first walked in, once inside, it was filled with locals and tourists, children and elderly, all walks of life.

There was live music, countless restaurants, and marijuana and hash being sold just beside the ice cream vendor.
