I'm fortunate to work for an activity holiday company called Activities Abroad and as a result find myself travelling to far-flung corners in search of new adventures. My favourite part of the world is Northern Scandinavia especially in winter when I get to go dog sledding, snowmobiling, gaze skywards at the Aurora Borealis and enjoy a host of other activities. Up there, they embrace winter rather than hide from it.... full info
