Where the Tasman Sea meets the South Pacific

We left the South Island in search of warmer weather and hoping to make it to Cape Reinga in our wicked van! After the ferry across the Cook Straits we stopped in Wellington where we spent the night in a local bar trying different beers and playing pool.
