Curious and friendly horse in Songpan
The Tibetans took really good care of their horses. They let them run around freely after we were done trekking, and then fed them before us. The horses were really smart and listened well. They also had attitudes, and would compete to be first in the pack, and would sometimes even nip each other on the butt. My horse (Jeff) usually went first, but Kaley's wanted to go first, and excelled at charging up hills.
