Had a great journey getting to Panavezys. Much easier going and the weather is great (need to get some sunblock!). Large open country with lots of Storks and gentle rolling hills. If you are staying in Ukmerge then I would recommend the Big Stone - great service and lovely food. We are eating in Katpedele and have just had some pizzas - yummy! I wrote this travel blog to capture my first charity bike ride around Lithuania that occurred between the 8th and 14th of May 2011 in the vain hope that it would be my one and only major foray into charity fundraising - hmm, we are all now back for May 2012!
