We had booked a cycling tour to visit the Palace of Versailles. Well what an adventure. We met up at a place not far from the Eiffel Tower. There were 20 in our group comprising of a mixture of people from all over the world and we all spoke English. It's been thirty years since we have ventured to the other side of the world. Ver are very excited as we are going to spend some time with our eldest daughter who lives in London. It's been well over a year since we have seen her. We are leaving behind two other children, but they are all old enough to look after themselves.
