My next un-expected flight took me to Rome, via Milan. We had a short stop in Milan for some of the passengers to disembark, and then we continued on to Rome where we had a 24hr layover. On that particular flight, as we were nearing Rome, we hit an unexpected case of extreme turbulance at which point the Captain came over the PA to announce "Cabin Crew, take your seats". UPDATE 10 June 2010: I am now a Canadian living in Africa! Today is the day that the World Cup starts here in Africa - though admittedly at the other end of the continent - and so I hope that there will be many eyes on this wonderful land.
