Day 7: Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
May 3rd 2011 VERY early start today, as the trip to Lake Atitlan was about 2 hours long - we left at 6:50. Our guide was extremely passionate about Guatemala, but basically, he reinforced what we had learned the day before, i.e. - the country is run for the profit of the few families at the top, with little regard for doing what is right for the people living there.
