The view from behind the slums

pretty nice view for living in such a shabby area. There are coffee and corn fields here that locals work. Many are paid under minimum wage ($100/month) for 12 hours work a day.

Today I went on a tour to see the work of an organization called Niños de Guatemala (www.ninosdeguatemala.org), located in the nearby town of Ciudad Vieja.
