Off to the Lakes District

April 16th 2011
Today we headed off with Carrie and Alex to the Lakes District. Our first stop was at The aqueduct called, Pontcysyllte. This is an amazing engineering feat. The canal is suspended on a huge brige across a river. You can walk across the aqueduct (it is very high). The aqueduct carries the Llangollen canal 39metres above the River Dee.
