Katy kayaking up the Aquajitas River

This was a wonderful stretch of river where we saw birdlife, monkeys and lots of tropical vegetation. We did it often and it became a favourite swimming hole.

For the last week, we have been in a small guest house in Drake Bay, on the Osa Peninsula, located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. To get here, most people (including locals) take the boat.
