Tuk-Tuk Trip! February 28th 2011
So with Sunday being our only day off from language training, we arranged with some local Tuk Tuk drivers to go on a small trip around the Kompang Cham province yesterday (Sunday 27/02/2011) - we were all eager to get out of the town, which is fairly touristy and see some real villages and jungle/forest. So, from February 2011 until April 2013, I am embarking on a 2 year voluntary placement via VSO in Cambodia. I will be working as a Hospital Management Adviser in a North-Western province called Banteay Meanchey, providing help and support to the clinical and administrative directors of hospitals and health centres - challenges and excitement is abound!
