September on the Road Washington DC had perfect weather. We learned to ride the subway and spent six days as tourists. Sat in on a Senate session at the Capitol. Poor Tom had to keep his opinions to himself. Annapolis was a beautiful little town. Mt. Vernon had visitors from Scotland, Germany, Russia and Canada while we were there.
