We have booked our flight to Chiang Mai and will leave Bangkok on Thursday. Today Mark thought that he would find us a short cut to the main street through the back streets of our Guest House and we got lost, so had to take a taxi to the subway station and then the skytrain to the Bangkok Old Town for the upmarket shops.
