For my 25th birthday, Gali surprised me with a weekend get-away to Cowansville. Cowansville is a town in the Eastern Townships, about an hour south of Montreal close to the US border. We left Friday afternoon after Gali conquered her second med-school exam and happily escaped the city before rush-hour.
