CN Tower

Constructed between 1973 and 1976, CN Tower is approximately 553.3 metres tall. It was at one stage the tallest free-standing structure on land in the world. CN Tower held this title for 31 years until it was surpassed in height by Burj Khalifa (formerly known as Burj Dubai)). It remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.

If I learn anything from this road trip, then it would be to book my hostel accommodation in advance … well not too far in advance.
