A truly touching monument. Especially the books at the front of the monument listing names, birthdates, soldier rank, hometown, age, etc. An inadequate but emotional tribute to those who served in the war.

I left Philadelphia this morning late. It was hard to leave my grandparents but the possibility of adventure and the road were calling me to live in the moment.
