July 15 2010 Today we got an early start up to the Grand Canyon. We arrived there about 8:30 am just ahead of all the tourist buses . But, they caught up to us around 10:00. We walked the south rim for the first 2.5 miles and then started getting on the shuttle buses that arrive every 15 minutes from any point. It was very hot.
