From Pretoria it took us 25 hours on two buses straight through Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia, making a connection in Bulawayo (which means 'killing place'), to get to the town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. I had originally planned on traveling to Africa for six months with my cousin. A few months into the trip, I realized that six months would not be long enough, and I would not be ready to go home.
