These trees weren't petrified but were 3000 years old...and still standing.

At the outset of this blog I have to say how proud I am of Katherine and her recovery from surgery. Despite a bit of snivelling before and after the operation (from both of us), she was out of the hospital in under 48 hours proudly displaying a dozen or so stitches in three holes in her belly.
