Helping Sam out

One of our British friends, Sam, had fallen while doing the death road biking trip here in Bolivia and had gotten stitches and several cuts. The clinic he went to in La Paz didn't do the best job with his bandages, so Mary Beth and I re-dressed his wounds and gave him some supplies. Good thing we are med students! :D
General Pediatric Unit

June 13th 2010
This week I stayed at Hospital del Nino and worked in the General Pediatric Unit. On Monday I went with Mary Beth to the orientation for the ten new students that had arrived over the weekend. We were able to be there to answer all their questions and orient them around La Paz.
