Finally left the UK on Thurs 20 Jul, due to my standby ticket, I couldn't get a flight on the wednesday as all of the flights to Bangkok were full. Managed to get on one of the last seats on a Qantas flight sat next to a young couple who had just spent 3 weeks on holiday in France and were now on their way back home. I'm a 29 year old Englishman who got bored of his job after about 5 1/2 years and decided to start a new career. So I quit my job and have decided to have a bit of a break before I go and work in the city. I have 2 loves in life - scuba diving and skiing! I try to ski in the winter and scuba dive in the summer (sometimes have been know to do either during Easter as well), as long as I get to go skiing and diving once a year I'm a happy bunny, if I don't then I tend to be a bit grumpy.... full info
