We arrived in Venice at about 2pm after a 3 hour train trip from Florence. As we are staying in the Dorsoduro area of the island we had to catch a vaporetto to our accommodation. The Vaporetto, or the waterbus is the best way to view the Grand Canal as it winds it’s way through the heart of the city.
