The Patio

Our hostel was located on a 'houtang' which is traditional alleyway in the old section of Beijing. Ours was a restored area, but in the next block in any direction were people living in very basic conditions. The weather turned very nice the last 2 days so was great to sit and watch the people.

It is hard to believe that our first year with Maple Leaf International School is coming to and end. Only one more month and we will be on our way back to Alberta for 7 weeks this summer.
