Forbidden City

The Forbidden City is supposed to be the largest palace complex in the world (not sure how Angkor Wat fits into this) - it covers 74 hectares and is surounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall. There are 9,999 rooms of which we saw about 50. It is such an overwhelming complex, that you would need several visits to appreciate the complexity - along with a guide! Can you find Geoff and Gail??

It is hard to believe that our first year with Maple Leaf International School is coming to and end. Only one more month and we will be on our way back to Alberta for 7 weeks this summer.
