Wandering through the older districts is always interesting and provides a different view of the city than that provided by the modern high rise structures. As you can see, people find many interesting places to hang their laundry!

What started out as an overnight stop in Shanghai to position us for our trip to Guilin turned into a two night/one and a half day sightseeing trip.
